ABOUT THIS COURSE
NEBOSH has joined forces with Great Britains Health and Safety Regulator, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to develop a new process safety management qualification specifically for process industries. Process safety management is a blend of engineering and management skills. It focuses on the prevention of catastrophic accidents and near misses associated with loss of containment of energy or dangerous substances such as chemicals and hydrocarbons.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
People from all around the world who work in process industries such as oil and gas, chemicals, plastics and pharmaceuticals. Given the hazardous nature of these industries, this qualifications has been designed to give process safety knowledge and understanding to managers, supervisors and safety professionals to allow them to manage their process safety responsibilities.
This qualification is not designed for process safety/chemical engineers with extensive operational experience of working within the processing environment. It is advised that learners should already
have an underpinning knowledge of health and safety, and many will hold another NEBOSH qualification.

5-Days
CERTIFICATION/EXAMINATIONS
Candidates are assessed by a 90-minute multiple choice examination. A qualification parchment will be sent to students on successful completion.
English language skill level 6 or higher in IELTS, or equivalent is recommended, but not mandatory, for those whom the first language is not English
