CERTIFICATION/EXAMINATIONS
The syllabus comprises four units:
Unit IA: Managing health and safety
Unit IB: Hazardous substances/agents
Unit IC: Workplace and work equipment safety
Unit DNI: Application of health and safety management in the workplace
Units IA, IB and IC are each assessed by a written examination.
Unit DNI is a workplace-based assignment, requiring learners to conduct a review of health and safety arrangements in their own organisation.
